How to solve the aging problem

As the aging problem is becoming more and more serious nowadays,I believe that perfect the social system and focus on the development

of the old service are effective ways to tackle the problem. In my opinion,firstly,the government should perfect the social security and pension

system ,especially in the rural area,which can be helpful to promot the new rural endowment insurance and reduce the burden of labour

family.Besides,the elderly also will feel at ease and neednt think too much more about their

income.Furthermore,we should focus on the

development of the old service,such as the community services.It is a great way to develop the aging service industry and meet the muti-level demand of the

elderly and offer diversified services to the elderly.so that the elderlys llife quality can be improved.

All in all,the government and people shuold work together in order to arouse the positive effects of the aging population problem ,turn the challeges into

It is reported that the worlds population was 6 billion in the year 2,000, and it is growing faster and faster. The worlds population problem is the greatest one because it brings lots of

problems, such as water resources problem, more and more people losing their jobs and so on. These problems are mainly in the developing countries because the population of the developing countries is over 4/ 5 of the worlds popuation. So China, the largest developing country, has kept the policy \"one couple, one child.\" 4

As is known to us,China has the biggest population in the world,which is more than 1,300,000,000.Such a large population causes some problems in cities,thats the unemployment.Too many people gather in cities and the jobs are not enough.Some graduates cant find a job though they have left school for years.In addition,traffic jam is another problem resulting from the big population.There are too many cars on the roads and streets. The situation of the countryside is not good.Too many people live in the countryside and we dont have enough farm land for them. Fortunately,our government has realized the problems and has attached great importance to them.The government is trying its best to create more jobs and improve traffic systems.Moreover,the one-child policy has helped a lot. 5

With the development of China ,the population is growing faster and faster,though,Chinese government has put forward strageties, such as ,one child policy.But at the same time ,the increase has slown down,which is to our relief.

As for the environment,the biggest problem is that people do damage to it and seldome do they protect.So,we would like to say,if they still dont stop those silly mistakes made to destroy the environment,one day ,human beings will be the last creature in the world. Protect the environment!Our earth is our mother for all of us. 6

The first fifty years of the next millennium will be critical for the worlds population. By 2050 population growth should have leveled off, but by then well have 10 billion people--two-thirds as many again as we have today.The rate of population growth is something we can choose right now, though: its not something that just happens, but a matter of human choice. The choice is a complicated one,with many variables, but it remains a choice.

If we want to prevent a population explosion, we should take action now -or assist the poorer countries to do so. They need better government, better institutions, better labor and capital markets, better schools.

Anything that increases the value of womens time and adds to the cost of caring for a child makes a woman less likely to have that child. Since big families are often seen as safety nets for illness and old age, improving poor peoples access to insurance, pensions and welfare institutions also has a major impact. This can be as simple as rural credit, providing a means of saving. Finally, there is education--both for women and, perhaps even more important, for the next generation of children.

These steps are there to be taken, but there appear to be some countries that are not seriously trying at the moment. If we cannot achieve that we will certainly not control population.

That said, I dont feel pessimistic that we are going to run out of resources: we are becoming more efficient at producing food faster than the rate at which population is increasing. There is, however, a risk that we will wreck the environment so effectively that the world will no longer be an attractive place to live. That really would be a dismal outcome, to reach world population equilibrium only to find wed destroyed the natural environment in the process.
