用明信片的方式写一封信英语作文

Dear Grandma,

I'm writing to you on this big postcard from summer camp! It's so much fun here and I have already made lots of new friends. The camp is in the mountains and the scenery is beautiful with tall trees, wildflowers, and even a little stream running through it. Every morning we wake up to the sounds of birds chirping and squirrels scampering around outside our cabins.

The first few days were a little hard because I missed you, Grandpa, Mom, and Dad. But my counselors are really nice and they make sure we stay busy with tons of fun activities to keep our minds off being homesick. We go hiking, canoeing, archery, arts and crafts, and my favorite - roasting s'mores and telling spooky stories around the campfire at night!

Speaking of campfires, I have to tell you the silliest thing that happened last night. We were all sitting around singing classics like \"She'll Be Coming Round the Mountain\" when a little bear cub wandered right into our campsite! I'm not kidding, Grandma, an actual bear! Well, you can imagine how surprised and a little scared we all were. But our counselors stayed calm and shooed it away before calling the park rangers to make sure it didn't come

back. We all got a bit of an adrenaline rush but it made for an exciting bedtime story for sure.

Other than my new furry friend, camp has been a total blast. I'm learning so many new skills too. Tomorrow we're going to try our hand at woodworking and whittling. I can't wait to make something to bring back home and show you! I've also been writing in my journal every night to record all my adventures here. Don't worry, I'll read you all the juicy details when I get back.

Meals here are decent for camp food - not as good as your cooking of course! But we get to pick what activities we want for our afternoons, and I always choose anything involving being by the lake. The water is so refreshing and clear, you can see all the way to the bottom. I've gotten pretty good at canoeing too, maybe you and I can go on a little paddle boat trip together when I'm home.

I have to run now because we're going on a nature hike to learn about the local plants and animals. I'll be sure to keep my eyes peeled for more furry friends! I'm having such an incredible time here but I miss you so much. I can't wait to return in a couple weeks and tell you all about the rest of my camping tales
