摘要：A method for presenting detailed information for an item within overviewinformation on a display screen, comprising: displaying a first presentation of the
overview information on the display screen, the overview information being presented onone or more lines of a grid; receiving a signal selecting the item from the first
presentation; generating a second presentation by displacing the overview information atleast partially away from a region in the first presentation and inserting the detailedinformation for the item into the region, wherein the overview information remains atleast partially visible in the second presentation to provide context for the detailedinformation in the region, wherein the displacing displaces the one or more lines of thegrid away from the region without distorting the lines, and wherein the inserting insertsone or more additional lines into the grid in the region upon which the detailed
information is presented; and, displaying the second presentation on the display screen.
